JonnaLynn Miller has over 30 years experience in the entertainment industry. Growing up in a family of entertainers, she faced a decision, early in life, when her father pointed out a wall of photographs, showing him with major acts. He’d hoped she’d decide to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a performer. But JonnaLynn had other plans. She prefers working behind the scenes as a booking agent, producer, and impresario.

In the 1980s, she formed JLM Productions in the Northern California area, booking bands and other entertainers for private parties, fairs, festivals and concert venues. Working with some of the biggest names in the industry, she produced shows and booked bands through 2000, when she opted to semi-retire from the hyper-competitive world of entertainment, and leave California for parts East. Eventually settling in Shreveport, she soon grew bored with the life of a retired agent and published author, and got back into the agency business, forming JonnaLynn Entertainment.

Why JonnaLynn Entertainment? Frankly, just about anybody these days can hang out their shingle and call themselves a “booking agent,” with no experience and few qualifications other than a ‘love of music.’ JonnaLynn’s extensive experience as a professional booking agent makes for a better experience for both the entertainers she represents and the customers that book her acts. JonnaLynn is a member of Local 116 of the American Federation of Musicians as both a member and a signatory – a rarity in the Ark-La-Tex. This means she represents union acts as an authorized booking agent and signatory, providing both customer and talent a greater level of professionalism and legal protection with any contractual agreement than a non-union agent.
